Charter Member Spotlight | March 2026
C. Nathaniel “Chuck” Brown is not simply a storyteller — he is a movement builder.

With a distinguished background in print journalism and independent film, Chuck brings the discipline of reporting and the heart of a humanist to every project he touches. As the founder of Expose Dementia, a nonprofit based in Atlanta, he has dedicated his work to raising awareness about dementia through the transformative power of arts and media. Chuck understands that stories do more than shape culture — they amplify voices, expand awareness, and restore hope for those navigating one of life’s most difficult journeys.

His acclaimed documentary, Remember Me: Dementia in the African American Community, was inspired by his own family’s experience. The film captures the vulnerability of brain change while honoring the humanity, dignity, and cultural strength of those impacted. It does not sensationalize. It humanizes. It reframes. For Chuck, a champion of mental health, this work is more than advocacy — it is ministry. Through storytelling, he seeks to improve the human condition.

That vision continues through the Expose Dementia Conference, taking place March 19 through 21, 2026, in Baltimore. The Expose Dementia Conference is where neuroscience, creative arts, lived experience, and caregiving wisdom converge — not in parallel tracks, but in shared space. A special day on Saturday, March 21, is devoted entirely to caregivers — centering those who walk the journey daily with strength, sacrifice, and love.

When the co-founders of Wisdom Watch Alliance began organizing an October 2025 screening of Remember Me in Richmond, Va., Chuck quietly made a commitment to become a charter member of Wisdom Watch. There was no hard sell. No fanfare. Just a steady decision to stand with the mission.

That is who Chuck is.

A change agent in the national movement to raise awareness of dementia, he travels the country with his film, forging partnerships, sparking conversations, and helping communities rewrite the story of brain health.

We are deeply grateful for Chuck’s commitment, his creative courage, and the example he sets. Through his work, he reminds us that storytelling is not merely communication — it is narrative agency. It is connection. It is healing. It is change.

Thank you, Chuck, for walking with Wisdom Watch and for helping us raise awareness and improve lives.
